cave lodge

forgot to mention just spent a lovely 3 days relaxing in a place called the cave lodge which kelly recomended to us (www.cavelodge.com) and it was superb

it was right by the river, with a massive cave nearby and surrounded by mountains - we even found time to paint a (quite awful) painting which was cool

and in the nearby cave every night there is a kind of bird show where about 300,000 swifts fly into the cave to feed on insects at sunset - it was amazing to watch , untill we saw one miss its way, fly into the cave wall and fall 20 meters into the river below - oops!! (was pretty horrible actually, but thats nature)
