last few days in oz

well juz has gone back to uk now, which was very sad - we all went to the airport and waved her and the plane off - i'll be back in a few weeks, so will be wierd to deal with things on my own, i'll prob get totally lost in india ! still, at least i can have a few lie ins :-) only kidding

so today we went to maruba beach, a lovely day - but then chris discovered he had lost his wedding ring, so after a quick search in the sand he talked to the life guard who put him on this guy http://www.foundit.com.au/

he was amaizing, he turned up on a scooter in a wetsuit and with a metal detector - he was a kind of steve irin character, full of life and very friendly - he operated on a no find, no charge basis - and spent the next 3 hours being battered by the waves trying to find chris's ring

unfortunatly he couldn't find it, but Chris gave him a healthy tip anyway - and we got an insight into the wierd world of 'foundit'


the whole thing was a bit surreal but fun
