last day in shimla

had a mellow night last night, was meant to meet a couple i met, but i was a little late - and either missed them, or they didn't show

forgot my book too, so had to do the 'eat yer meal thing' and look at the walls - the waiter even took the menu away so i had nothing to read!

then spent a night in the coldest room ever, they wanted to rent me a heater , the bloody cheek - so i stubbornly refused. It was so so cold, i had a big thick blanket around me whilst watching TV, and if my arm popped out it instantly got really cold. Mr breath was condensing too. Anyways, i had a few beers and watched goldeneye - theres not much to do here at night, unless u just eat all the time - which is an option :-)

so today went up to jakhu temple which has nice views, and about 200 monkeys - which they encourage you to feed, insane! and then the museum which i must say was pretty tedious as it goes - although it was interesting to read gandhi's letters to Hitler, and Franklin roosevelt

been reading the papers here too, its a good way to learn a little more, aside from the guide book

so, ive been searching for nice pics of the temple, and shimla on google - and they are all rubbish, so here's a picture of bert and ernie!
