muang sing, China, and back to Louang Prabang

so we headed of for the 2 hour trip to muang sing to relax for a few days, which was all we could do really cos there wasn't much to see

so we hired bikes and cycled to china for the day - well, the border actually - there was much to see but it was quite daunting to know that the worlds most populous country was behind the gates - another time maybe!!

it did occur to me that we could have earned loads from sponsor deals on a cylce to china, even thouhg it was only 10K - would have kept quiet about that tiny detail :-)

forgot to mention we hired a motorbike the other day and went on a delightful (nice word i think) cruise through the national park here - and returned home safe and sound which is always a relief when you hire mopeds
