ha long bay

just spent an amazing few days on ha long bay , we only booked it last minute and we thought we;d pay a few extra dollars to get a night on the boat

and it totally blew us away, the boat was lovely and we all had lovely cabins with great big windows, the food they served was superb and there was about 10 of us on the boat, so we pretty much got to no everyone

predictable the highlight was sitting on deck and drinking all evening with our new found friends, which was great fun - there was some funny people with us

the bar bill ended up being more than the price of the tour, oh well, bit of a once in a lifetime that one

and then waking up and seeing all the islands out the window was just soo nice, cant believe its happening really

so off to Laos now, ive lost my Vietnam arrival card, so i'll prob end up banged up of sommit
