mui ne

made it to mui ne, by a rather dodgy journey - we opted not to get the door to door 5 dollar tourist bus, and thought we'd get the train to the nearest place which is about 30k away -

what we didn't realise was that the we arrived at 1am and the station was in the arse end of nowhere

we ended up getting a bit intimidated by the guys there and had to take a taxi for about 30 dollars - 6 times what it should be!!!

few lessons learnt there

still Mui ne is pretty cool, we on the beach again although the south china sea is quite chilly here - hired bikes and went for a ride to the fishing village

presents are gonna be funny here - we've all bought some novelty rubbish things for each other, so should be fun

where kicking off with bloody marys and bread and cheese in the morning, then for a swim, and then we'll take it from there

gotta jeep booked for boxing day too, to the big sand tunes where apparently we can sledge down - ????? mmmmm, quite intrigued to see how this turns out - we'll see

and we walk up a rived where we are assured there are no leeches

i seriously hope that bit is true :-)
